CAUTION: WET FLOOR, 6h Performance

An everyday domestic task, specifically, mopping the floor, is relocated to a new context in order to bring visibility to a form of labour that often goes unnoticed. The action takes place on the floating platform Insola, situated in the middle of the River Spree in Berlin, where the act of cleaning loses its practical purpose and appears endless.

The work reflects on the ultimate purpose of our actions: the contradiction between our persistence in trying to control a situation and the impossibility of ever truly doing so.
